True Adventures is heading to Honduras this winter!

Honduras is the ideal adventure destination.  It's is still a developing country, so costs are low, and it still provides an authentic travel experience.  The country offers tons of activities including some of the best diving in the carribean (friendly whale sharks are common this time of year), kayaking, hiking in the jungles of the national parks, and exploring the ancient Mayan ruins of Copan are just a few options.

We plan to spend a good amount of time scuba diving.  If you are not a certified diver, you can get certified there at some of the lowest costs in the world.

When: Friday March 2, 2012 to Tuesday March 13, 2012

Duration: You are welcome to depart from Honduras earlier, or stay longer, but you will be responsible for arranging your own ground transportation.

Cost: Approx $1100-$1500 (including flights, accommodations, meals, etc) depending on the type of accommodations and activities selected.

Structure: Minimal. Like all of our trips, this isn't a "guided" trip.  Everyone will be expected to play an active role in coordination, and we'll keep things flexible so you can do what interests you.  Consider this more of a group of travel-, diving-, and adventure-lovers planning a trip to Honduras together.
