Ice Climbing

The warm weather we had early this winter will not stop us from ice climbing this year! We are heading farther north to the Upper Peninsula in Munising, MI. If you've ever dreamed of swinging ice axes and climbing frozen waterfalls, you won't want to miss this trip. We will be climbing in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore right on the bay of Lake Superior. This is a stellar area with an immense amount of falls to climb - not to mention gorgeous scenery. No experience necessary. You will learn how to tie your own knots, belay and proper ice climbing technique. Space is limited.

Dates: 4:30pm, February, 10th - 10:00pm, February 12th 

Meet Up: Near North Campus on Friday (1001 N.Crosby, Chicago, IL US 60610)

Where: Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Munising, MI

Cost: $130 (includes gear, hotel stay, snacks, 2 breakfasts, 1 dinner)

*We will be carpooling up there so the cost does not include gas. Please bring extra cash for dinner Friday night and Sunday night.
